The topic that i am covering and have been writing and researching about is online shopping, the effects, myths, and formal problems that have been arising sinc this fairly new technology has sprung up only a few years ago. i have found many key point as to why people shop online, instead of the conventional shoppers who actually goes into a store to buy the things they need or want. online shopping is a conveinent tool, where you can shop from the privacy of your own home, wearing whatever you want, not having to fight through crowds, or deal with sales people, or fighting for parking spots. although i have found all of these to be examples of all the good things online shopping does, there is also the downfall, people stealing others identity online, hackers breaking into ones computer and purchasing thousands of dollars worth of goods with someone elses money, there is also the issues of still having to deal with the pop ups, and kind of sales people still trying to get you to buy things, and are we becoming that lazy where we dont even have to leave our beds, to go out and shop. i also am goin to focus on the ideas, of americans going into debt, and millions of people signingup for credit cards online and having no idea what they are getting into. my thesis starts out with: “Mall shopping isn’t going to go away, but online shopping is the wave of the future,” states Tomkovick, a scholar himself, and a self proclaimed online shopper. Online shopping in recent years has become a craze like the Beetles, millions flocking to get a glimpse of the latest trends, the best deals and the first to purchase the newest technologies”. i think that this is the perfect thesis statement and describes everything i want to to get people interested in my paper.
